As has been said a thousands times already, our advantage is being able to do everything pretty well depending on (a) gear and (b) how well we can play our class. What I've learned so far is: (1) we are not the best healers, (2) we are not the best tankers, and (3) we are certainly not the best DPS. I just thought I'd add my 2 cents about druids. So work together and put that meter away.Ĭomment by ThottbotNice set.

I have a Priest too, so I know both sides. With my 60 druid I always talk to Priests before the raid to make sure we work mana effient, cuz some Priests are being fed up by complaints of guys regarding healing meters and overhealing druids. At the end its important to save mana and save the raid and not to be first on some list. Third reason.Īll in all I hate healing meters, because they say nothing about how good you are playing and distract people from working together as a team of healers. (Second reason why they have worse stats) And since Priests tend to heal later, but you were keeping the guys to 100% they had nothing left to heal. Secondly Priests shield, which is not being calculated as healing, but prevents damage anyway. Because the overheal is being calculated too(so bad job on that). Thats the first reason you outhealed them. Druids tend to keep guys up to 100% health and tend to overheal too (with Rejuvenation and Regrowth). Great job! Thing is priests tend to heal differently. Screw em.Ĭomment by Thottbotto the guy who said he outhealed 2 priests together. If your good at it, don't change it because someone tells you to. If a raid leader won't accept you, the raid is probably one that will repeatedly wipe due to their own dumb mistakes. My advice to druid is fit your spec to your style, not what some idiot tells you to do. I've never been with a group who refused to invite me back. I've never grouped with anyone who wasn't in awe of what I could do, and suprised that a druid could do it. And then I have my main stuff, like the Warden and a bunch of +stam, agil gear for when i want to have fun. So, how can I be party freindly? i have most of wildheart in a bag, for when I need to heal. Last time I checked you play games to have it. I would have quit my druid, but then I got lv10 and bear, and it became fun. But people who are in it for the fun and challenge go balance, or feral, with a enough resto to be group freindly. If your they type who really likes sitting there clicking on peoples names, then by all means be resto. I'm like a paladin with pull and battle rez, and roar. They don't realize that I'm not a preist. The reason people rag on druids are because they're idiots. What other class can punish idgets in a raid as well? I stopped healing her, AND stopped getting agg off of her. Today in LBRS, someone told me that no one would ever raid with me, in the middle of a raid. I have 7+k armor, and 17% crit in bear right now, and I can eat lv60 warriors in AV. Right now I think I might be the only late-game feral druid, and still really happy about my build. And I AM planning a respec, but it's to lose a couple points in resto. What I'm trying to get at is that this set while having both negative and positive impacts, is a very good set for those druids who are trying to get the feel for how their class runs through end-game material.Ĭomment by ThottbotI'm lv 57, and my spec is 0/36/12 right now. It has decent mp5, which can make or break a healer in a raid, above average stats, which is very nice because the more mana you have, the more healing you can throw on the tank, and some nice set bonuses (in all fairness, the tranquility and hurricane cooldowns aren't the best ability, but traq has saved my groups more than once). However, there are many pros to this set as well. Tier two is a much better choice for those druids who are straight up healers in raids and the such. Druids are mostly called upon to be healers, but this set focuses more on the balance between a balance druid and a healing druid.

I has some downsides which, I hate to admit, are a little pricey. Personally, I only use the gloves, the boots, and the chest because my guild was able to supplement me with some better +healing gear, but I am looking at obtaining the whole set, if for nothing else than to say, "Hey, I got it all." But in all fairness, this set isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread. Comment by 4445All in all, the set isn't half bad if you're looking for some decent raiding gear.
