The lag was new to me too - I haven't had a chance to try the game on another PS3 yet, so I don't know if it's inherent or just the machine I was using. Capcom's said that any audio issues in the PS3 version are just there, they had to compress a lot to get all of the new chatters and plot dialogues in, and honestly, I bought the game knowing this, so I probably shouldn't complain. I don't own 4, but I've played my friend's copy a lot:D I probably shoulda clarified that all of what I'm saying about gameplay applies to 4 as well, at least according to my experience, although the lag and the horrible audio issues aren't present in 4.
